Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
We are pleased to provide you with a report on the successful completion of the 1,000,000 Books to Malawi Project, which you generously supported. Your contributions have made a significant impact on improving access to the Message of the Hour in Malawi, where the need for books was dire.
The project began when Bro Tim Dodd made us aware of the fact that the believers in Malawi had not received printed Message materials in over 20 years. With your support, we assembled a dedicated team of translators to initiate the translation of sermons into the Chichewa language, ensuring that the Messages resonated with the local community. We were also able to recover old translations and initiate new ones, enriching our library of Message books for distribution. This tailored approach ensured that the literature resonated deeply with the local community, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
The project was executed in two phases, with the printing of 400,000 books in the first phase and an additional 600,000 books in the second phase. The books were printed offshore to ensure cost-effectiveness, shipped to Africa by container ship, delivered to Pastor Precious Makatanjes in Luchenza, Malawi and stored in his church, Luchenza Bible Believers Church.
The books were then distributed across Malawi through the tireless efforts of Bro Precious Makatanjes and his colleagues, Bro Lesley Mkandawire, Bro Wellington Kaliati, as well as other believers and individuals.
Your support has truly made a difference in the lives of countless believers and pastors in Malawi, providing them with the spiritual food they need to grow and thrive in the faith. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your generosity and commitment to this worthy cause.
